ABT in Action “Asset Based Thinking”

ABT in Action, LLC has pioneered the development of Asset-Based Thinking™ (ABT) for students, teachers, administrators, and parents.  ABT principles and practices show people how to direct their attention toward what’s strong, best, working, valuable, and possible in themselves, in others, and in every situation.  Asset-Based Thinkers are able to focus on the positive side of the ledger to foster top performance in schools and youth leadership organizations.

ABT in Action was founded as a response to the growing need in the educational field for a knowledge-based and experiential learning program to support the development of the growth mindset and creating a positive culture of change in our students, schools, and communities. Lori Dixon, CEO, Learning Compass, with a background of 25 years in education and professional development saw the vision for asset-based thinking in our schools today. Along with Dr. Kathryn Cramer and Hank Wasiak, authors for Change the Way You See Everything books we formed a viable and powerful partnership. With ABT’s influence in the corporate, health, and business markets, and now in the educational and leadership field the philosophy of Asset-based thinking ™ has reached a national and international audience.

ABT in Action is a collaborative company venture with Learning Compass, Lori Dixon, Dr. Kathryn Cramer, The Cramer Institute, and The Concept Farm with Hank Wasiak. The ABT for Youth and Adult Leaders Action Labs are a collaborative project of ABT in Action, LLC.

“Asset-based thinking widens and sharpens, your personal frame of reference, so you can enlarge the perspective of others. This allows the combined talents and strengths of multiple asset-based thinkers to grow exponentially, making it possible to see and harvest an amazing array of benefits”. Quote from Change the Way You See Everything by Dr. Kathryn Cramer and Hank Wasiak.

Come join us in putting growth mindsets back in your school, classroom, community, and work environment!
